RS6 is auto and AWD
M5 offers stick/SMG and RWD
580hp and a TT V10 is nothing to sneeze at but it's not enough to get a 4500lb AWD car to do that ^paint sucksComment

Wagon are popular in europe because:
1. Pick up trucks are a rare sight in europe
2. They can look good, carry alot of shit and put a smile on the driver's face
3. Taxes: It's much cheaper to own 1 m5 wagon than 1 m5 + 1 525iT in terms of taxes
4. Space constraints: just no room to have more than 1 car a person (in bigger cities)
5. Vacation... nothing like annoying P-car on the way to an alpine vacay in courchevel with skiis on the roof & the trunk full of shit.Comment

as cool as they seem, they are a flop. we had one ordered and sitting on our lot for about a half a year before someone actually bought it.-- yeah, I got to take it out for a "spin"!
