Pretty neat. I'd like to see it on a regular drag strip.

it is cool, dont get me wrong as I love jets, but it just seems so loud and ineficient. Then again if you have the money, you can do that.

That is pretty awesome. I guess when you have done everything you can do with standard engine cars, you gotta find something bigger and better.

I love how its called the 'eco-jet'. I guess they didn't get the memo about gas turbines burning A LOT of fuel...

Cool car though, if you got it, flaunt it!

Car runs on biofuel. In essence it is pretty economical if you can obtain it in the quantities needed to run the jet engine.

I see that car as a complete "badass" engineering project. I would love to be part of something like this.

                Jay Leno is the man.

Our Chinook Helicopters run on Bio-based JP8 too, at a burn rate around 2100 lbs/per hour. Just cause its made from beans doesn't make it eco-friendly.
It is still really cool though.

It reminds me of this turbine-engined concept:

There are two of them in private hands today, I saw one of them at Mr. Kleptz's private collection in Indiana. The other one is Jay Leno's of course:)
If I remember correctly tho, Kleptz's engine was rebuilt, so it does work now, so Wikipedia is incorrect about the number of still working turbine cars.

That car is awesome! I love the full carbon body. Jay leno is a wicked cool guy. I love that someone as wealthy as him is still just a gearhead at heart. Ie: Christmas at Jay's house was the tranny with upgraded sprag clutchpaks... haha
