                    It's not illegal in AL. Or rather, no one would care. You could drive a golf cart with a v8 in it, legally register it and get tags and probably even insurance.

                            lawl, in south carolina we have a golf cart registered for road use. Rules are as follows, It has to be electric after a certain date, you can't drink in it, it has to have headlight if you wanna drive after dark. That state doesn't even have seatbelt, or cellphone laws. Hell you can drive around in the back of a pickup drinking as long as it's not in the cab. just don't get arrested there, you have to pay your entire fee before you go to court, ask me how I know.
