f22 are sick, had one in the pattern at work one day close to 400kts on his up wind/ down wind and breaking at those speeds! sick! but i have not seen one in about 5 months, should be seeing the 35 from tyndal AFB soon

i work at a civilian airport, 22's seem to break faster than anything else we get in on a regular basis, 18's 15's T38s. the 18 and 15 s seem to break around like you said 350. i guess it really all boils down to one thing, the pilot.

as a weapons system, the f-22 is a piece of crap. i agree with navy guy. the thing was built as a constituent project for douchey congressman. im all for giving our guys the best, not some piece of shit thats meant to keep reps in bed with contractors.

Someone told you wrong. there was a scenero out in the desert with 8 f-15's vs 2 f-22's.

Just like '1' F-16 can take '5' F-15's. I never said that a 15 could win a dog fight with a 22 by any means, they arent designed to do any thing crazy. They can hold their ground but wont win against a F-22, and I know that. The F-15 can get to the place faster, drop more bombs, and have all the extra fuel tanks to come back. :) The F-22 can only reach speeds up to 1500mph while the F15e can go 1650+mph and can go up to 400 miles further then the F22. Im not saying the F15 is better then the 22's, Im jsut saying that the 15's arent going anywhere any time soon.
