I am a professional application filler, and a novice at getting called back.

Systems engineer at Surrey Satellite Technology US (SST-US), which is a branch of Surrey Satellite Technology LLC (SSTL), which is based in the UK.

We design, build, launch, and operate small earth-orbiting spacecraft from proposal to atmospheric re-entry ("soup to nuts" in layman's terms).

So far we (UK and US) have launched 41 spacecraft into Earth orbit since 1981.

Here are a few that are in orbit now:

I work part time at my girlfriend's family business. They sell souvenirs to pretty much all gas stations and wal-marts in 36/50 states.

My buddies and I make pretty good money scooping up rare VW and bmw parts from pick n pulls, and sell them. That is where most of my mod money comes from.

Silliness aside, that is at Los Alamos National Labs where the payload was being integrated to the spacecraft.

And in case anyone is truly curious, cleanliness and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection are suuuuper important.

We sold some star trackers to SpaceX for their Dragon capsule, and we use their rockets to launch our stuff. One of our spacecraft will be on one of the first launches of the Falcon Heavy...

I do suppose that would be the situation. But I think it's a pretty thin stretch of connections here, you (and I) are just usernames on a forum, I know the CEO as much as anyone knows their CEO in a small company, and I am sure our CEO and Elon don't play golf together on their spare time...
