    2010 Toyota 4Runner

As the owner of 06' T4R I was curious if anybody else had seen the new body style?
    Engine choices now:
    Gone is the 4.7-liter V-8 engine (260 horsepower, 306 pound-feet of torque, 7,000-pound towing capacity) and its place is a new 4-liter V-6 (270 horsepower, 278 pound-feet, 5,000-pound towing capacity).
    Gone, too is the base 4-liter V-6 (236 horsepower, 266 pound-feet, 5,000-pound towing capacity) and in its place is a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine ( 157 horsepower, 178 pound-feet of torque, towing capacity n/a).

Looks like a sequoia, FJ and a Pilot had a 3some and this is what popped out.
My feelings are ehh on this

Didn't like the current body style thats out now. I'm only 5'9" and my head hits the A-pillar when I hop inside.

I love the 99-02 body style.

When toyota dropped the manual transmission I stopped caring about 4runners. I don't even consider them a real SUV anymore.

Haven't like the 4 runner since the dropping of the removable roof. Yes I'm old.

I do love the removeable top feature! My 4th gen has proven itself extremely reliable and capable. I always longed for a turbo diesel manual version but I won't be replacing my T4R with a newer one seeing the 5th gen, its just ugly as sin. As for headroom, I am 6ft tall and it works for me, any taller and prob not.

So I'm the only one that likes it?

It's weird... but I think it will grow on me. Then again, I'm a fan of the FJ.

As the owner of an 02 Runner, I really like the 5th gen, especially the interior. The profile reminds me of the 2nd and 3rd gens...

I was expecting to see a 4x4 sienna but this aint too bad. I think it looks better than the FJ. I would consider it if it was stripped down with the off-road pkg but no matter what, its gonna take more coin than im willing to part with to get in on my driveway. My S/C Xterra does just fine.
