Day Traders/ Guys that bought last year

How have you been doing? The 1500 I felt comfortable investing with has done great so far. I toy with taking some of it out and put it into more conservative funds.

I did Ford, CSX railways, and GE and Union Pacific.

    Where did you put money?

Exxon, BP, TEPPCO, Enbridge and few others

I have done "ok" with all this down turn.

OP I think you are on the right track (pun intended) with the R.R. shippers, look into some outfits that are putting up the wind turbines and look into Natural Gas Futures and companies. NG has been low for a while but is starting to tick back up now that heating season is upon us

The Ford was a huge as I bought when it was 1.07 and now it's above 7.5 so it was basically all profit.

in the short term LNG will be a bust.. the supply is so over demand right now that we've run out of places to store it. i wouldn't buy LNG stocks now.

i'm not a day trader nor a medium term investor. due to my job i cannot buy/sell instruments at short notice without clearance but my long term plays are doing well right now (unrealized paper gains of course).

Yeah but you will be surprised how fast that glut will be used up, It does not take long to go through a BCF of gas in the US especially in the winter and with this very early and sever cold snap, I will bet that its gonna be a hard and long and cold winter.

That and the largest gas suppliers would not be investing Billions upon billions into central PA and NY to develop one of the largest NG deposits in the US if it was gonna be a bust market
