Buell is Gone

Don't know how many of you care but a truly great motorcycle company is gone as of today.

I felt so bad for that guy watching that, you could tell he was holding back tears the whole time. He was barely holding his voice together, it was hard to watch.

Almost purchased a Blast off some kid a few years back. I really like that company, it sucks they aaren't going to be around anymore.

Just watched the video that shit is hella depressing. harley davidson decided to cut buell off... (in the FAQ)

It is sad thinking that although harley is continuing their own production, they are cutting off a successful sport bike company, probably to further push forward the led sleds that are already popular...

Yeah, that's obscene.... I mean, in all honesty Buell wasn't like a killer name in the industry, but they were unique and offered a great product. I was considering a Buell or Ducati in a few years... Definitely leaning toward Ducati, but it sucks to hear about Buell.... For those who own the bikes, that's great to have a piece of what will eventually be history and worth a ton to someone... I bet the remaining stock sells pretty quick too.

I had planned on buying an xb12ss sometime in the next year or so. Now its probably going to cost a lot more.

I really hope Erick starts up something new and doesn't let Harley ruin his company the next time around.

He still owns all of the patents for his brakes, fuel in frame, and a bunch of other cool designs.

Maybe scale back from the pre-Harley takeover days and keep doing what he loves.

that Americans for you. all theses business men making triple figures want to play dress up with their bandannas and chaps. i hate cruisers and i loved what buell was for the American market. buell should just say fuck HD and try to make their own motors. that was the only bad part of a buell anyways.
