one of the craziest street cars cars I have driven was a Ruf CTR (basically a narrow body 1984 911 with a turbo and 500hp) on street tires I pulled 170 on the back straight at Sebring, modern ALMS GT3 cup cars are probably in the 160's on slicks. I love me a RuFBrian JacobsComment

Just one of the hundreds that I took when I grided for Waktins Glen. I was talking to the owner and team of this car and they said it had close to 1 million into it. And it DESTROYED the whole GT class.

I thought this was just ridiculously cool. It was the fuel tank used in a hill-climb car. It was pressurized to eliminate the need for a fuel pump.
