    I'm pretty new to this great forum and just a recent E30 owner. Diggin' the car, and learned quite a bit reading many of your posts.

    Anyhow I'm happy to see theres some Porsche love here.
    This is my '83 track rat. I've owned this car for 8 years

          Oh man good eye.. that was oil smoke that day... this was a autox with MSNE in the Jersey Metro area on a very hot day running a good amount of advance on single plug with the euro 9-8 pistons. They do not like the heat and one detonated, however I still made sure to get all my runs in. I have since switched to the JB racing single plug dizzy that comes with adjustable advance springs which really put those issues under control. I have popped these euro pistons more than once...

          As you can see I do not baby the car... :p

          The carbs are Webers, bored out to 42mm by Paul Abbot on the west coast. The manifolds are of course PMO's.

          Sure been to Lime Rock, but have not been a PCA member for a while now.
