It burns at a hotter temp and the government loves to say its bad for you. But there are no actual studies to prove it does anything bad to you. There is proof tho that it helps with chronic bronchitis and asama. There are also no deaths by OD from it. You can die if your allergic to it but most people are not. Just look at the netherlands, people smoke pot like cigerttees over there and they live life nearly as long as us.

Pot is not good for your mind, period. I used to smoke daily and then one day it stopped being fun and started being downright scary when I had a panic attack. Every time I have smoked since then I just get anxious/depressed/paranoid. There is tons of anecdotal evidence that it can trigger mental problems such as schizophrenia and anxiety related disorders. These are not things that you will read about in High Times.

well let me tell you something. i have smoked lots of weed so i know what it is about. theraputic? no! it's a cruch just like any other substance out there. what do i mean by that? having a hard day at work. you can go home and smoke some weed and forget about it. have you delt with the problem? no. instead of trying to figure out why your having a bad day and dealling with the root problem so it never happens again your dumb ass just goes home and takes some setetives to make the world seam nicer. well i got news for you friend. life is hard and the sooner you wake up and smell the coffee the better you will be off.
yeahs i think that people should be able to take weed (not smoke, smoking is bad no matter what it is) if the have a very painful illness that there is no cure for. how ever smoking weed because you have a headache or your sad just makes you a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles! there are many people out there that are sad and have hard lives and they do just fine if not better with out weed.
now for smoking. smoking anything is bad! i do not care if your smoking weed or sigs. taking smoke into your lungs is harmful. weed has a lot more natural tar in it then tobacco does.

that said it is still technically illegal to sell weed threw a store front in California. that's a fact go look it up. it is also illegal to make a profit off of weed in California. so technically if you are doing ether of these two things you can get in trouble with the feds.

I have the right as a human to ingest whatever I feel like. The feds aren't gonna dictate to me a god damn thing. They haven't figured out how to make a profit off of weed yet. But they make a killing off pills, cigs and booze. And prosecuting weed smokers. Marijuana has been around 3000 years, ain't gonna go away either.
PS: I never smoked a cig in my life. Cause they stink like shit. Can smell you coming around the block. Weed smells delicious.

i have nothing against people who smoke weed. i do have something against people who smoke weed and make up a bunch of lame excuses for why they smoke weed. i also have something against people who try and say weed is good for you. it is not. yeas weed has positive attributes but so does wine. it is all about who is smoking it and how they ingest it. it is not good for everyone and it is not good in every form. if you want to smoke weed smoke weed, but don't go running your mouth about how it is holistic and pure and healthy! that's a crock of shit to make many weed smokers feel better about what they are doing.

Not true. Marijuana isn't even technically legal in The Netherlands, it's just highly decriminalized and personal use and sale in coffee shops is not prosecuted. Studies have shown a lower percentage of people smoke marijuana in The Netherlands than in the United States.

Just sayin'...I hear lots of exaggerated facts about The Netherlands and I always feel the need to correct them. ;) Nothing against teh ganj...I smoke almost daily and I'm a full time student with a 3.8 GPA, I work, and am a very active person. Marijuana will only turn you into a lazy slob if you're already a lazy and uninspired person.
