would you really want to eat a gelatinous, shapeless, potentially poisonous mass?

youre right, eating them is absurd... instead lets toss them in a blender and use that to moisturize our eyes!

americans deep fry butter balls. of course they can deep fry jelly.

I can't wrap my head around it, but if these guys dont have a brain... are they not conscious? why/how are they classified as animals?

From what I can remember the Japanese do use the Jellyfish to make a certain tofu. So yes we can eat them.

The increase in jellyfish populations is crazy! Definitely an area of research that should be getting more funding. Especially considering the implications of jellyfish replacing fish in marine ecosystems.

I can't wrap my head around it, but if these guys dont have a brain... are they not conscious? why/how are they classified as animals?
They don't have a brain but they do have a nervous system, they are carnivores, and they possess locomotion. All traits of animals. Just throwing that out there. I feel like we need one of those "the more you know" stars now. Haha.
