    For gaming purposes is it worth it to pay up for a i7?

    Or will the improvement be minimal?

        well there are other alternatives that are still i7 cores. ant, go for the i7, if you're going to build something for gaming, you might as well have the fastest stuff out there, budget permitting of course.

        i run crysis on the build that i sent you on full settings and it runs very very smoothly.

          I've been using the i7 920 OC'd to 3.4ghz since May with the GTX 295. Outstanding.

          No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan. :up:
