I use Torrentz.com and then its just brings up whatever files are present from all kinds of websites.

Bitcomet is what i use for download.

I have gotten 4 emails from my ISP about illegally downloading movies. I never have gotten in trouble for music or the programs, only movies. They all have either been from Universal Studios or Warner Bro's movies. And whoever does the office. They have always stated what movie/ show it was and time of download. They just said to cancel the download and it will go away. So nothing big but now I check to make sure who produced the movie before I download
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Wow. Your ISP must be in bed with Sony or Recording Artist etc

Pressuring them to monitor this type of activity.

^ Yup, it's Charter Communications. NBC Universal apparently hires a company to monitor this type of activity, and the company contacts the person's ISP. I'll try a few of the sites recommended and see if that works out.

A lot of internet providers will look at your DL rate. If you are DL'ng 5 gigs a day, they get suspicious.

It's hardly that much, maybe 5GB in a month (or at the very most every three weeks or so.)

Comcast called me over the summer warning me about my bandwidth usage. I didn't know they had a 250gb cap (per month) and they called me being real serious (and sounding worried) saying that i had transfered 600gb of data that month and if i do it again i automatically get banned from their internet for a year (no joke) and there's no way around it and that the computer automatically locks me out once i hit the cap again

The guy told me that they can't tell what i was downloading, just the amount of stuff. I just told him i transfer a lot of photos. Lol

Well. Tell them to read the contract. If it says you have a limit. Then be it. If it says unlimited bandwidth, tell them to keep quiet.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
