I talked to one of the guys from EVOMS and iirc he said something about the pressure in the cabin from the speed made the sunroof rip out of the factory rails. Then there was a huge cross wind that hit him and then he pulled the chute and slide off into the grass

Yep, sunroof pops up/rips open or whatever, disrupts airflow over rear of car (and spoiler), he pulls the chute before he goes sideways (you can see him), crosswind probably caught the chute and that plus 224mph of lift and no downforce on the rear of the car tossed it sideways.
