You don't have to bash the religion, you can simply report the facts. When you listen to the reports, they just quickly mention that he screamed Allahu Akbar, and then proceed to talk about how how he was reprimanded for preaching Islam, teased, forced to go to war that he was protesting etc. For whatever reason (be it to be PC, to make the Military look safer, to help protect the sane Muslims), they're quite clearly downplaying the pretty obvious truth that the dude is off his rocker and is a fanatic Muslim. And don't tell me the last adjective is uncalled for. If someone screams L. Ron Hubbard's name while laying waste to a dozen of his countrymen, I'll call him a fanatic Scientologist, no problem.

i guess this excuses him killing 13 and wounding however many. if youve ever been in the military youd know harassment and teasing is a way of life. its what soldiers do to stay "sane" and keep from killing everyone around them. ironic huh?.

I think Lee's trying to say that this isn't a good reaon to bash a specific religion. If a guy carved Jesus into the walls of his apartment, and ranted about killing all the muslims, jews, whatever; he'd be a certified nutcase, and just as capable of the some horrors.

The issue isn't the religion, it's people who can't handle thier lives, aren't mentally competent, think they are victimized, and take it out on the world.

Ehh this is what happens when u keep pushing a guy to far. In an article it says that he was being harassed constantly about his muslim religion. I know what he did was wrong but I mean if I kept getting harassed constantly because of my race/religion I would probably do the same thing, hell I think anyone will do the same.
