See ya wouldn't want to be ya. Need to take a tougher stance on crime her in the US. I think old dude in Texas is gonna go to the nut house. He will not face a firing squad he justly deserves.

We need to take our country back from criminals.

Yeah, I agree, wtf? I think the guy deserved solitary for the rest of his life in a maximum security prison. Either way I'm not an advocate of the death penalty for any reason.

If one of their family members were shot and killed I wonder how many of them would of changed their tune....

                    Probably not many....

Killing the killer won't bring loved ones back. Maybe if the existence of the death penalty actually lowered crime rates we'd find some small justification, but in fact it does not.

I do find it confusing how many people who are rabidly anti-abortion are pro-capital punishment. So much for "Choose Life".

i don't advocate it for him specifically, what i mean was that if anyone deserved it, he did. But I'm, with Terp here.

                        agree. this excerpt from CNN:

"Bob Meyers, whose 53-year-old brother, Dean, was shot dead while pumping gas in Virginia, called Tuesday's execution surreal.
"Watching the life be sapped out of somebody intentionally was very different and an experience I'd never had," he said on CNN's "Larry King Live."
"I'd watched my mother die of natural causes, but that was very different."
He said he might have attained some closure, "but I would say that pretty much was overcome just by the sadness that the whole situation generates in my heart. That he would get to the place where he did what he did, and that it had to come to this.""

I think that the shooter didnt suffer enough. Giving him the lethal injection was just an easy way for him to go. I think we should of cut off his legs and arms then let him rot to death.

Even IF CP didn't lower the crime rate he doesn't belong on the streets (parole) AND costing taxpayers money for jail housing.

He didn't show any remorse for his crime and this proves to me that he is unable to be rehabilitated.

That argument could be made for EVERY murderer since no sane person should be out killing people.

Nice, completely true. I was wondering why they had a special on over the weekend about this. Well at a certain point death just doesn't seem to do it for me. Torture seems adequate in this situation.
