[quote=z31maniac;2301084]^Yeah but have you ever tried to use a wheel? /quote]
Yes, I had a wheel back for GT1 and 2. Things are probably more realistic now.
I just finished 4 laps of the nurburgring in my stock '07 M3(except for coilovers, wheels and race tires) and i have to say that speed isn't everything. A car with 400hp on a challenging track can be more fun than a supped up lambo that you can barely control.
The car handles amazingly and at one point I caught up with a Lexus IS250(newer body style) and we went back and forth taking the lead from each other, then it got dark(time/weather change) and we were still about 200 yards from each other the whole track.
On the last lap a tuned 350Z joined us and then it got really interesting!
Safe to say, most fun I've had night driving in the ring in a stock BMW.
I'm not too far into the game yet, but one of my favorite cars is the '87 Civic race car for exactly that reason.
It's not super fast or anything, but it handles great and can be chucked with ruthless abandon over the curbs and stuff.

X 2, I'm probably even earlier in the game than you, I loved the Toyota Vitz racing car. That thing weighs like 657kg's, just carries momentum really really well.
anybody else unlock any matte paint finishes? I got this one for having 40 cars. Oh and this is by far my favourite car so far, 7:03 around the ring, I need to breakinto the 6min area.
and just bought and rm'd this, haven't raced it yet

+1 and how it doesn't show up in the rear view mirror bothers the shit out me too for some reason.
Where is that pictures location, are those your cars in the back you put there or is that game generated?
In Japan. I think the third or fourth spot. The cars were already parked there. I hate that you cant drive in photo mode. The first thing I wanted to do was a doughnut in the lp670 in the middle of the town square, but couldn't
