I think he needs to be convicted of battery and sounds like a bullshit claim of "Allahu Akbar" so I would definitely think this case seems a lot like an ignorant hate crime.

Well, the guy is not afraid to be at the least aggressive with strangers, and probably paranoid of traditional arabic people, and mistaking this poor greek priest, lashed out. Did the Greek priest deserve it? If he grabbed the guy's junk and/or propositioned him, yes. Otherwise, it was a bigoted, ignorant beating.

Either way, sucks to be on the wrong end of a Marine with a tire iron.

exactly .. the fucking media sucks. if he were a muslim or black it wouldnt be mentioned.
