    Marcel Wanders Industrial Design contest

So the latest project at school was to enter this lighting contest with the intent of designing after the style of Marcel Wanders. The criteria was that we were to make a table top laminar that had reference to pre 20th century history. I didn't place, but my project was talked about a lot by the judges.

Well here it is! Please keep in mind that I had not known what direction I was going to take this whole project until three days before it was due...

    and here is my poster...

So what do you guys think? All criticism in welcome!

It reminds me when I was studying graphic design a "few" years ago. In one of our conceptual classes, we had to create a chair according to a character. Fictonal or real. I ended up picking Machiavel and made a chair from 1/2" metal rods with a very sophicated yet simple design inspired by Bota. But the catch was that the seat where you'd place your soft behind was made from spiky lengths of metal. It was a classy torture chair. It won prizes and got shown in several design magazines around the world. But industrial design was not really where I aimed at. So I went into advertizing.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Thats awesome Massive! As of yet I haven't shown pictures of it besides on r3v. I plan on seeing if anyone wants to publish some stuff about it in the near future.

I go the University of the Arts in Philly for Industrial Design, and no pictures of the lady, sorry guys... That was the one stipulation for her letting me extort her body haha. Not allowed to tell her name or show pictures of her... And for her being so awesome and helping me out, I'll respect her wishes.
