Anyone else get it yet? I was addicted to the first one, and felt the things that needed work was the repetitiveness of the towns people; and a little more of a back story on Altair's character.
Well I picked up AC2 the day it came out and began playing.
WOW.
They fixed everything wrong that was with this game in terms of playability and story. It blends right in with AC. Starting up right where the original left off. The towns are still humongous. The peasants are still annoying but there are a lot less of them and they are a lot more tolerable. You can customize your weapons and Armor. Upgrade everything. And even bring a dwindling city back to life by renovating it to add to your income. There are also TONS of puzzles and some of them can be a little frustrating
You are the same person "subject 17" Desmond Miles and you start as a new past life character, Ezio. You really get sucked into the plot of who you are playing.
Anyways the bad:
The roof tops are a lot more complex then AC. I've noticed its pretty easy to get stuck or fall and lose someone you're chasing.
Also the graphics are great. But they aren't unbelievable like the first game's were. Its obvious the developers put way more time into the story and gameplay, to make it as good as they could, rather then making it look like real life.
Anyway. I think this game is fucking great! everyone with a PS3 needs to buy it. Now. Its well, well worth the 60 dollar price tag.
I give it 4.5/5 stars.
Oh yeah, this got me pumped up as well:
