You know you can hang out with other people with out alcohol right...?

Not trying to be a dick, but I feel like the concept of hanging out with other people has been eliminated. I'm sure most people either do school work, read, watch tv, browse the internet, or play video games when they are home alone. But you can still go play pool, watch a football game etc with out spiraling into a pit of doom. (I left out the bar intentionally)

i've been going out, and not drinking. it's not that hard really, the bar just isn't as much fun, which is fine as far as i'm concerned at this point.

See that's the point nobody really assumed you were. We suggested you get your life together because you left it vague. So don't snap at us because you didn't let us know what else you are involved in.

lol, i'm not to worried getting reamed a bit. i know what i did was dumb as fuck and i won't deny it, i'm pissed at myself, but don't assume i'm a total wasteoid just because i recognized negative influences of alcohol in my life. just looking for some activities besides reading and staring at the tv.

Then you shouldn't have that hard of time being able to channel your efforts into NOT going out and wasting your evenings drinking.

Did you call a bud and ask hey did you drive me home or what not? Heck you opened the worm bucket and we gave you constructive criticism vs belittling you.

yep, woulda been high on my to-do list had things worked out a bit differently with the ex. as far as the "get your shit together" comments go, i've been gainfully employed since i finished college 5 years ago, continually learn new skills on my own time that expand on my degree, have lots of athletic and outdoor interests, and lead what i consider to be a pretty successful life. i work, snowboard, bike, wrench, and generally do whatever i want with my free time in the winter. part of that used to be going out to watch football, play pool, hang out with friends, etc. drinking was just a negative i decided to eliminate. i consider my "shit" to be fairly together.

im annoyed at how much snow Colorado and the PNW has gotten already, and Tahoe only got their first legit storm the other day.
I had the best opening day ever at Northstar on Saturday though.
