:) Sounds like a plan...thanks for the input guys, Gotta love this community.
i still would like to here on the C.N.A programm tho.

Switch to part time student for a semester... only take Statics and something easy..... Study your ass off.... no excuses....Leave a comment:

So many Options right now, but i for once can't figure out what to do.Leave a comment:

just what I was getting at about not being cut out for engineering, me the lowly construction worker has had to straighten out and teach fresh engineers much about their jobs.

I wish people would just stick to doing what they are actually good at. Too many "book smart" IT people, Doctors and the like....argh.Leave a comment:

look dude not every one is cut out to be an engineer, and its good that hes figuring it out now rather than get out in the real world and suck at it.

Sounds to me that you don't want to put in the effort to be an ME. I suggest you switch degrees to something business related to be with the rest of the slackers.Leave a comment:

i could take statics in night course and be like back on track in Everything. i want to challenge this course, i think it's to late to even Register for it right now. i will check today or monday and report back. that way i would only have static to do untill April and work from now till then. next year i could apply for any Engineerng program and get accepted. and if i decided to finish Mec, i can do Dynamic+stress analysis in June and that would be perfect. but the Question is, would i be able to handle all of that? to be honest my old people told me just to get into C.N.A and be done with school and start making money.....I am an electrical engineer, but finished school almost 10 years ago (hard to believe).
I only had to take statics my first semester, after that I didn't have to take any other class (such as fluid dynamics) other than some materials chemistry classes that were really ouside the electrical engineering area.
You will take a TON of math classes (Calculus 1-3, differential equations, linear algebra etc) before you get to do any of the more fun design classes (on the electrical side). Most of the fundamental classes are math, math and more math just applied to solve various fundamental problems. After graduation you won't be doing nearly as much math as you did in your undergrad studies though.
Do try to get an engineering internship if you are interested in being an engineer. I did and had plenty of fun building stuff, learned two new programming languages and got to test things till failure.
I was horrible at statics and chemistry as well.Leave a comment:

believe it or not, i am really good at math. it's simple and easy. but Statics MEC132 is a complete shithole. and i ended up with a B+ in Calculs.I'm finishing up my EE degree at UCSB, never took statics or dynamics although they did seem like interesting classes (kinda wish I did). YMMV though.
Seriously, if you don't like math you probably shouldn't be doing engineering. Most of the stuff they make you do out by hand you will have programs to do for you easily, but you'll still need to understand it fundamentally and have an idea of what's going on.
Edit: Good luck. :p

Better to figure out now than later down the road! ;)i don't enjoy statics at all.. maybe i will if i only have statics not other 7 courses to worry about. ;)
and i already droped out from the Programm. i have to Apply again for the programm and apply for another student loan. if i do it, it will be another 2 years lol.Leave a comment:

Work through Statics - if you can't, then you need to find something that you enjoy. If you enjoy statics - go ask for help!
I graduate in May, and I struggled like a mad-man. I've really worked my ass off the last 2 years, but it's paid off tremendously! Stick with it, engineering is a great degree to have! :D
