    SpaceShipTwo Unveiled

Docked, the larger plane, WhiteNightTwo holds SpaceShipTwo between it's duel fuselage's.

    Detaching...

Rocket powered, it climbs to 62.1+ miles above the earth...

    Complete trip, 2.5 hours.

Comparo with SpaceShipOne that won the Ansari X Prize for $10m, being the first private owned launch into space...

Who needs words when there is a picture of composites?

    Lots of viewports.

The Official Unveiling is later today... Thought I'd get you all started in the meantime.

Fucking Rutan is the man. But there is something about his designs that I don't like - appearance wise that is. They don't seem to have a soul or something. Not like the planes of WWII. I guess none of that matters except how it looks in a wind tunnel. /rant

If I'm able to go into space before I die, I will die a happy person.

                            Who wants to go first? . . . . Yay. . . whoops. . . uh-oh. . . bye bye.

I would much rather blow the $200k to see the world I live in rather than look at it (and a bunch of nothing) from a distance.

In a sense of forward progress on expansion and what-not, it's pretty cool. They should use Recaro's for the seats. lol
