Who needs an iX n snow? Pfff...

The Snow Vehicle made by Armstead Snow Motors in 1924 is able to drive in the deepest snowdrifts with ease.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

Snow was a major problem in rural areas. In winter, small villages would be isolated from the others. In Quebec, Louis-Armand Bombardier created its own propriatery track technology and came up with buses like that. During WWII, its technology has been appropriated by the US army as it was better than previous track systems.

I've seen that type of thing adapted to fit a wheel chair. Pretty awesome stuff. The trick is in the programming the of the controller to get everything to work right.

That thing wouldn't last a year in a cross-dock warehouse.

Actually that AirTrax thing is pretty badass...

If the slats on that Snow Vehicle were longer that thing could literally go anywhere... It was a cool concept, that's for sure!
