He originally posted the poll saying "it's a record" referring to the amount the approval rating had gone down in a very short amount of time. That is, from January '09 to December '09 the approval rating had gone from 65% to around 48-49%. If we do some simple math, that's around 16 or 17% in 11 months.

The poll YOU posted shows the approval rate at 68% in late January, and 50% as of yesterday. Which is an 18% decline in the same amount of time. 18 is more than both 17 and 16, as long as we're insulting one another's intelligence, so the poll you posted shows a larger decline than the one he did.

EDIT: I should address the other point about Sunstein: the supposed hunting ban. In his own words:

I really don't care about animals as long as people aren't being just plain cruel, but what he actually said is far from a total hunting ban. And he has no say on the matter as the Office of Management and Budget, which will oversee Sunstein's office, isn't really the sort of place to be concerned with animal-rights policy.

And the part about animals suing? Economics will keep that from ever happening. Besides, Sunstein would not have the position to ever make that happen.

Again, I'm no supporter of Sunstein. He doesn't even qualify as a "Czar" really, but the OP makes it sound like he will have powers far beyond what the regulatory position entails. More stupidity designed to scare the guns'n'god crowd.

Yes, and it is still more accurate. Where did I say that I was trying to prove that Obama's approval rating hasn't slipped? I never said that. Everyone knows it has. What I said is that the Gallup poll (showing 50% approval rating) is more accurate than the Rasmussen poll (showing <50% approval rating). If people are going to post on here on here about politics pretending like they know even a sliver of what they're talking about, I would appreciate, at the least, the use of accurate and reliable sources.

Wow, if you could actually read a graph, you could see the +- 3% on the Rassmussen poll overlaps with the Gallup poll quite well for the recent days. The two only significantly differ on the early months of 2009. Do you not know how polling and statistics work?
