PS: I'd like to hear your guys' evidence that human's ARE, in fact, affecting the temperature of the Earth.

Well it's pretty simple logic really. Humans are emitting exceeding amounts of greenhouse gases (in the form of methane, co2, etc.) into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases trap heat. Therefore the atmosphere is heating up.

The only question really is the amount of greenhouse gases that are emitted and how the amount compares to natural phenomena such as volcano eruptions. We ARE having an effect on temperatures, even if it is negligible.

The main reason that this has become such a problem is because the environmentalists are taking arguments like these and running with them. Then people from the other side are easily objecting to them and falsely concluding that we have zero effect on atmospheric temps. Everybody, on both sides, is just fucking stupid about this issue right now.

What scientisits should be doing is showing how much our atmospheric contribution of greenhouse gases compares to natural phenomena. Only then can we understand the effect that we have.

I will say, the amount of CO2 and other "green house gasses" are all less than .05% each of total make up. and less than 1% each of the green house gasses. 98.x% of green house gas in the atmosphere is Fucking water vapor. Water vapor is many times better at trapping heat than CO2 methane or any thing else you can think of.

Mother nature will release decades of human G.H. gas out put with a single volcanic eruption. The reason emissions are rated in TONS is to make it sound like a huge number, because you have idea what ton is it sounds like a lot, but when you dont have a number to compare it too its a meaningless unit. If my mom's 6th graders can wrap their head around these concepts then surely you can too

After watching the whole video I do get the "fanatic" vibe from this guy but the fact remains that I agree with what he's saying and I haven't heard anyone really publicly "call out" global warming. It's a crock of shit. Yes we technically have an effect on the temperature of the planet but no we do not matter.

I get the theory, I asked for facts showing that this is true. Temperatures have recently been cooling, arctic ice is picking back up, temps have gone up and down cyclically (including ice age freak out of the 70s), and overall emissions are very small relative to the rest of the atmosphere. Therefore, the theory doesn't really seem to be panning out in the real world.
