These guys are just having fun, why do you hate fun????
are bullets not powered by gunpowder? i didn't mean black powder. no, i don't hate fun, but i do know that there are proper places to have this kind of fun (range) and it doesn't happen in your backyard. maybe i've got a screwball outlook on that because i've lived up in neighborhoods all my life and that sort of fun would not be tolerated in this situation. It was always legal to fire an AIR-rifle in the backyard, but not one with powder.

Maybe they have a shit ton of land and no one around for miles...I guess that would be okay, but it's still a strange concept to me.

also beer + firearms is NOT responsible in the slightest

Yeah, most of these people live on big tracts of land, woods go on forever. This is why you always abide the "No Trespassing" signs in the country. You might find yourself at the wrong end of a firing range. This stuff is normal in rural areas. They don't shoot air pistols, because A) they're for kids and B) not gonna ruin your neighbor's dinner with a round in their souffle.

What is the deal with "WHO DAT?". I've got a new co-worker who just moved from Louisiana and he like to watch football with my roommate. His fucking girlfriend screams "WHO DAT!?" at the top of her lungs every 3 minutes. I have no idea what the hell is going on.

The practice of shooting guns in the backyard is very normal to me also. You have to realize how comfortable people like this are with firearms and where they are living. My family shoots in the backyard all the time and when I was younger my brother and I had a pony that we would pack up with guns and go all over the place. Sheriff would wave to us as he passed when we were walking down the main road with guns leaning on our shoulder. Just a very different concept then you are used to, not necessarily irresponsible.

I 100% agree with you on beer and firearms not being responsible though.

Rednecks are weird... what's with this "who dat"? I mean, that's your homie... and that's your TV... why don't you know this stuff, redneck? Why must you ask the same question over and over?

But I completely agree with a bet is a bet, that shit was hilarious! Moral of the story, don't make stupid bets!

As has been stated when you live in the country, on more than a postage stamp lot, or in a subdivision This is normal behavior. Why any one lives in those conditions is beyond me but thats a totally different topic

Yeah beer and guns are not a good mix, but we have been know to have 1 or 2 beers tops while enjoying our toys (at home on the farm not at the range). You have to remember even most state laws say its ok just so long as your not drunk <------- read as in DUI drunk of .08 bac. Thats part of all (that I know of) CCW permit conditions that you dont carry while legally too drunk to drive.

Yes, and they are nice/expensive guns. They know what theyre doing. I imagine all of the gun enthusiasts in the bay area have hi points with no serials.

While I tend to agree with this statement in this situation, really I do.

The ass hat I was talking too, if he runs across some one in his area with a gun, it will prolly be pointed AT him with some one demanding him to give up something valuable. I would rather be around drunk idiots who know how to use a gun pointing it at a tv, then have gang members that dont really know how to use them point them at my head. See there is a difference, be it small as it is.

Dont you have a gorilla suit to don and go out a mess with rural dwellers near gods country, by triggering their game cameras tonight ????????

For all of the guns I own and the various ranges I've been to, I don't know a single one that would let you bring a TV to use as a target.
