    This cracked me up..

The lagging economy isn't the only thing energizing PBR. The brand has also cultivated a reputation as a hipster, offbeat beer.

"While PBR's success stems from its niche, dive appeal, it isn't actually the cheapest of the cheap. PBR is at least $1 a case more than Busch Light and Keystone Light, says Benj Steinman of Beer Marketer's Insights. PBR drinkers may want to look down-market, but they're willing to spend a little bit extra to make sure no one mistakes them for the mainstream."

PBR tastes a whole fucking lot better than Busch and Keystone as well. Especially Keystone.

Want to drink on the cheap? Buy Old Style.

Of all the low end beers, PBR is by far the best.

that site must be designed to crash computers.

PBR is popular because it's cheap and good. When I don't want to pony up the extra $$ for brews from stone or great lakes then it's either guiness or PBR. It beats miller blight or pissweiser.

trendiness was never part of the equasion.

Good god, drink good beer or have a soda. Have some standards people.

Edit: And if you are just looking to get fucked up, slam some white wolf vodka. At least that swill will get you done faster.

You are good at reading. The whole point of the article was how it's more expensive than Budweiser for example, hence the part I bolded.

I haven't had any cheap beer that tastes good. The only thing major brands are good for is sitting at the lake all day drinking since they don't taste like much.
