How many of you guys are dealing with the finals week depression right now? No parties, studying like crazy, and trying to make sense of the notes you took all the times you went to class still drunk from the night before. I have 3 comprehensives on tuesday, one practical on friday, a 10 page essay that I haven't started due on monday, and a 3 page on tuesday, meanwhile the internet is kicking my ass every time I try to write something, what do you guys have due?
finals week

that sucks. I;ve been taking this semester off from classes, working full time. Just stress at work, no finals. working all the time sucks, though...i'm going back to classes and getting my degree so i can at least make more money while working all the damn time...barely breaking even on living with 40 hours a week -
2 finals on tuesday and 2 on wedensday (mechanical engineering)
my marks are ok so i am not to worried about the finals lol...except for static, which i already dropped off and taking in jan.
friday i am gettting so hammerd and baked.Originally posted by e30elose the old man bmwcca badge.Comment

I'm a ME major as well, 2 of my finals are just social sciences, 1 of which I do really well in, the other I'm borderline. I have a physics and chem final as well, both of which I do alright in. I'm actually not required to take a static class at this school although I'm transferring next year so I don't know what that curriculum will be. How far along are you?
Lucky bastard, I'm registered for next semester already but of course all those classes are pending these finals. Thanks for the well wishes, whats your major?
I actually was working full time right out of high school, then lost my job, and started looking for a new one when I realized I didn't want to work retail for the rest of my life. Now I'm a full time student, 30 hour employee. Of course just retail again, but at least I know afterward no more $10/hour jobs. Get yourself back in to school man, I'm sure you won't regret it.that sucks. I;ve been taking this semester off from classes, working full time. I'm kind of thinking of applying to cbyx after my degreee, anyone ever look into that?Last edited by HiTheNameIsBJ; 12-13-2009, 12:05 AM.Comment

statics sucks ass...i hate it so much, i am doing really good in all of my courses except for this.
i am first year/ first semster. tuesday is electricity+statics(so just elec for me) and wedensday( physics, a joke and calculs...can be tricky sometimes)
i already passed english, and machine tools. next semster is gonna be a bitch i have 7 courses and a night course for statics, i think i am going to either go crazy or somthing...it's so busy i am pretty much everyday at school studying.
how about you? :)Originally posted by e30elose the old man bmwcca badge.Comment

I did it for the first time last week, it was pretty funny actually because there's only about 16 people in one of my classes and at least 8 of us drank before it. It was a government class that no one really understands but we all seem to do well in it anyway, and that particular lecture was on police corruption which we knew wasn't going to be on the test.Comment

For the most part I'm knocking out my liberal arts classes right now because I'm behind on math. I take government, US history post 1865, physics, chemistry, and pre calc as a night course. Physics and chemistry both have labs, so each one has a practical. Next semester I have thermodynamics, physical mechanics, English 2, and calculus. I just loaded up this semester because anything after 12 credits is free, but I realized I'd rather work and make money than save $300 on a course. Pretty much in Suny schools we have to take:statics sucks ass...i hate it so much, i am doing really good in all of my courses except for this.

how about you? :)
Eng 1&2
Gen Chem 1&2
Phys for sci 1,2,&3
Calc 1,2,&3
Engineering 1, &2
2 phys ed's
Mechanics 1, &2 (which now that I'm looking at it 1 is statics, just never heard it refereed to as that)
Differential equations and series
and 2 engineering electives, which is where thermodynamics comes into play)
I'd like to take a course in fluid dynamics but my current school doesn't offer it, I'm most likely transferring to Suny Farmingdale, but I'm thinking about buffalo.Last edited by HiTheNameIsBJ; 12-13-2009, 12:23 AM.Comment
