    Hotel Theft

So I'm stuck in the airport right now after spending the weekend in Vegas at the Wynn Encore (which is an awesome hotel btw) and as I was packing today noticed that my iPod disappeared. searched the room high and low, nada. I've never in my life had anything stolen from my hotel room before now, how about y'all?

Don't think I've had anything stolen from me, but I've done my share of stealing from the hotel and/or breaking stuff in the hotel.

Did anyone go in the room when you weren't there?

As one who lives outta hotels non stop for 90% of the year YEAH I have.

I always take everything that is of value with me when I go to work in the am. If my back pack ever gets ripped off I am out 3-5k worth of shit.

I have had cash, change, a $400 Casio Path finder watch, IB profin, had my room tossed to find stuff (thats how I lost the pathfinder) all kinds of shit. And its always the cleaning staff. There is nothing you can do about it either.

That said I have been in places where the staff wont even take a tip that you leave for them with a note on it.

I spend 3/4ths of my time in hotels and have yet to have anything jacked to my knowledge but I tend to not make it easy. I dont leave shit out, kind of pack shit back up so its obvious that you would have had to been rifling through my luggage to find it, ect.

No matter how nice the hotel is its going to have an illegal cleaning your room.

Not a hotel, but the other week, someone broke into my house and took a case of vault and 4 frozen pizzas from the refrigerator in my garage.

I too live in hotels on a daily basis and have not had anything that I can remember come up missing. I have three road bikes all worth over 1500 sitting in my room everyday unless I'm flying then there is two. There is a laptop and a few portable hard drives and a chainsaw.

Sorry to hear of your misfortunes.

Lol, speaking of garage theft, I recently locked up my engine stand, started keeping turbo separate, and secured my block to my stand. My build is on here, facebook, and bfc. I've gone to parties and mentioned it and had people who I've never met before say they've heard about it. I've also had unsavory acquaintances ask me how progress was coming along. Since then I've kind of cut down on flaunting, and updates, trying to stay a bit more under the radar.

It's 1,971 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho to Huntsville, Alabama, but that clearly didn't stop a thoroughly baked Farbin from making the journey.

Yeah that was all outta one cheap nasty ass Howard Johnson in Middletown NY last year. Need less to say I refused to pay for that nights stay and back charged them through my CC and went down to the Microtell for 2/3 again the price but it was much better. Really thats about the worst I have ever had.

Where I am now, I have 3000 rounds of 45acp, a new welding hood,my 2 Filson duffel bags, a pair of Whites boots, and pair or redwings (I am wearing my winter muck boots daily) all sitting in the corner by the TV stand and no one has touched them. The guy who owns the place has made a comment on my ammo collecting but nothing more.

Middleton, or Middletown? The reason I ask is because I'm about 10 minutes from middletown and commute there twice weekly.
