What is the most you would spend

Let me start by saying that I am way too broke to ever think of buying an E30 M3. It is top five in my all time favorite cars. I was skimming through the Roundel classifieds and looking at what they go for. I don’t know if I could spend that kind of money IF I had it. What is the most you would spend for one? But man the are sooo nice.

I wouldn't have a problem spending a little more than 20k, but much more after that would get ridiculous. The prices will continue to only go up though as well.

I'm not a fan of the s14 for a DD - it's a gutless wonder in stop and go traffic. So, I really don't care for one at this point.

I think you are going to see a split in the prices. You'll have nice sample going for $20-30k. And other will be sold as fixer'uppers $5-10k.

                $20-25k for a nice one.

Not that I have that to spend, but if I had the money to spend and wanted one I'd look for one.

There's an 85k miles Alpine White minter near me. For $15k cdn. A steal. I am trying to convince myself I don't need another.

a year and a half ago

a year and a half ago I spent $6,000.00 on an 88 that was only running on three cylinders, took a year and almost the same amount to rebuild the engine... Was it worth it? I would have to say yes... it isn't a DD, it sits in the garage and comes out on sunny days... Would I pay $20,000.00 for one, no, I'm too cheap and there isn't really that much difference between an M3 and a 325i with a chip and headers.. Don't get me wrong, I love E30's, we have 7, but in my case, $20,000.00 can be a pretty good down payment on a house, be it the one you live in, or one to rent out... But then again, tommorrow you could be hit by a bus... might as well enjoy life while you can... just myworth

25K and it must be mint with no more than 50,000 miles. All original with all repair and ownership paper work. Yes it is a great car, good history, but It's still a BMW.

I'll second this. e30 m3's should only be sold to people who know what the car is worth and will do it good.

                              Buy it.

You know it is worth more than that, and will be even more so in the future.
