what's crazy about him? he has some very good ideas. i don't agree with all of them but at least he's honest and says what he means despite the political implications.

ps : sox sucks, i have to deal with the BS stemming from it and nothing in there is any practical deterrent or audit.

He gets into a rant and keeps saying "and..." without giving anyone else time to respond when in a discussion, and barely even takes a breath in-between. I imagine sometime he's just going be to in a heated argument and start yelling about the gold standard or the Fed and passout because of it.

His ideas would get better traction if it was coming out of a more well-adjusted person's mouth.

yeah he's not as slick as some career politicians but i wouldn't classify him as a crazy. he actually has ideas and can articulate them a lot better than some former presidents we've had.

Having dealt first hand with the implementation of SOX processes, they're a load of shit.

It's false accountability, and it's pretty hilarious. You get a score card for your SOX performance during your required audit, but there's pretty much ways around everything. We had a 100% score on all of our SOX scorecards at my last company, but there were tons of SOX violations daily that were covered up later with extra documentation to make us look better on our audits.
