Don't do this. You'll spend way too much money on a mediocre optic and limit yourself to what you can do with your rifle.

I think that Bushmaster's are one of the better AR's built. Here's a link.

Bushmaster Firearms International based in Carson City, Nevada, United States, is an American manufacturer and distributor of firearms. The company's product line revolves around semi-automatic pistol and rifle variants of the M4 / AR-15 design. Now made with 100% US materials and parts.

        Cheers,

                  Pre-Installed Bushmaster Gas-Piston Upper Assembly

Bushmaster's patent pending Gas Piston Operating System now comes pre-installed on a Upper Barrel Assembly. With it comes the reliability, ease of maintenance, cooler running, and consistent function of the Gas Piston Operating System that has for years been so successfully used on AKs / FALs, and others. The Bushmaster Gas-Piston Operating System is a short stroke piston system that eliminates gas rings, gas tubes and hot gases vented into the weapon Receivers. Instead, gases are vented under the hand guard, and away from the operator. The high performance Bolt Carrier features increased mass, an integral impact lug and specially designed anti-wear features to protect your receiver. The result is a cleaner and more reliable system sure to enhance the overall performance and reliability of your weapon.

Available with standard 16" M4 and 16" heavy profile barrels chamber in 5.56mm/.223.
