    Pandorum

Wow. Pure hallucination for 2 hours. If you thought that Avatar was a sweet mix of Pocahontas meets the Smurf meets Starship Trooper, man, do I have a film for you. That thing is a real nightmare.

Pandorum is a non stop sci-fi flick that won't leave you a minute of rest until the end. This is totally hallucinating and you'll want to save your skin from the predators. This is Alien (the first) on fuckin' amphetamine. You got a lost spaceship, a great storyline and edge of your seat action. Don't take any drug or you'll freak out. Tension is constant. And the lady warrior is sooooo hot.

Basically, after earth was deemed to reach extinction, a spaceship with 60,000 settlers put to slip is sent to another planet. One crew member wakes up and while on the quest to the reactor realizes the ship is infected by necrophile mutants feeding off the human cargo. If you like gore, don't worry, there's plenty.

I really, really wanted to see this in the theater. Looks fucking insane. Sci-fi is such a perfect companion to horror, as evidenced by:

Still my all-time favorite horror flick.

Thanks for the review. I'm downloading it now.

Avator was pretty sick though. :)

Saw Pandorum a few weeks ago, it wasn't that great imho. I would say it's an 7 out of 10 movie.

Maybe because "Alien" is my 'sci-fi' benchmark...

Sounds like Event Horizon meets Firefly's Reavers. which means of course i have to see this.

Meh, Pandorum was pretty shitty the be honest. I guess maybe I am just not a big horror fan. I am more into action sci-fi as opposed to horror sci-fi. For example, Aliens is far superior to Alien in my opinion.

Finished watching it last night. Meh is right. Nothing mind blowing. But I guess if you read political blogs all day while watching 12 cable news channels simultaneously, this movie could be considered exciting.

The only thing that kept me watching was the rack on the chick. Amazing.

And there is a glaring continuity problem in the movie that is a pivotal plot point - guess you have to overlook that one.

                            Amazing rack.
