Went to 50 cities, and 85% of them was in the NE. Ironically I grew up in providence and Ive never even heard of Billy's. And al forno is good but its like a sit-down type of deal, and expensive alot like anthonys down here.

I only eat pizza from places that make their dough fresh daily. Dominos makes that shit in big factories, freezes them, and then ships them out to franchises.

I saw the comercial and thought it was horse crap but after i tried some and i actually enjoyed it. Its not like its the best or anything (especially spending my hole life in chicago) but for the price it cant be beat.

there are some pretty good ny-style pizza places up here. I've had a decent amount of the authentic variety (umberto's in new hyde park is fantastic), but a lot of nyc pizzaiolo have begun to toss dough in rochester and syracuse, producing pies that rival what i've had in the city.

But for such cheap prices, i am definitely willing to try the new dominos recipe.

+1 but that's probably because we have real pizza in NJ/NY. Pizzerias (and authentic italian restaurants) don't really exist in other parts of the country.

I would like you to go tell that to an authentic Sicilian family who owns pizza shops in Chicago, New England, and the Southwest.

In fact whats more known for pizza? New York or Chicago?

I dunno. We have a place called "Flying Pie". To me, there are 2 kinds of pizza, there is Flying Pie and the other stuff.

Everything is hand made, 100% fresh...and a large #1 weighs about 9 pounds.

HUGE and incredible, the absolute best I have ever had.

I am sure there are other wonderful pizza joints out there, but I don't care. FP FTW!

Yeah, well it´s nice sometimes to eat crap like that.
I prefer cooking at home, but sometimes I´m just too lazy.
I just meant that there is a lack of variations of junk food franchises over here.
