Im here, its a great day for a game.

Im rooting for Texas because of the Big 12 but they are unfortunately like Florida, which was picked apart by Alabama so Im not holding much hope.

Alabama almost lost to 2 unranked team. Longhorns almost lost to Neb, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. Those 3 teams re Texas's closest rivals.

I have a Texas shirt on right now, but not necessarily pulling for them. I grew up in Austin, but was raised by parents that went to Arkansas. So I am a hog fan first, but like the horns, yet want to support the SEC. Can you see how I am torn? You think thats bad try being a razorback fan growing up in Austin.

Anyway, it looks like bama has got a break in McCoy getting injured, we'll see.

Or an LSU fan living in Little Rock....My wife is die hard Alabama all the way, she won't wear anything crimson here in Baton Rouge during football season though.......(apparently LSU can't get over the whole Saban thing!)

Texas played a great first qtr. To all those who are blame this shit on McCoy and say that if he was in then Alabama never would have had a chance, realize this, if your entire team depends upon a single player, one that without him, you have no passing offense, a beaten up running offense and a demoralized defense, then you NEVER, I'll say it again: NEVER deserved to be in the National Championship game to begin with. TEAMS are champions not individuals. Bama out played, out ran, and out passed Texas on every acccount, they used every player in their line up from Julio Jones to Ingram to Maze and Peek. Even with ingram, our first ever heisman winner, out of the game Richardson and Upchurch owned the Texas Defense. McElroy didn't need to depend on either his passing or the runners, it was a perfectly balanced team.

That was a pretty good game.

The backup QB did a hell of a job in the second half to get them back to 21 - 24. I think Texas would have won had he not been blind-sided and lost the ball.
