Just how cold is it ?

here in south Florida its been in the high 30's. its cold but nothing unbearable. I can say I don't enjoy they cold, but worse is I cant get the heat to work in my house so the inside temps have averaged 58deg inside my house for the past week.

Well that is your normal temp, the normal temp around here usually at this time is 40 degree's without windchill, not 5 degree's without windchill. And in Boone, the windchill is always a factor due to 20-50mph winds everyday.
EDIT: Just drove up the hill to my apartment, only took like 5 minutes and I was literally driving at 90 degrees when I got to where I need to turn lol. My E30+heavy snow=fail but it was fine out on the salted roads.

Kinda lame. Its been cold here, I think about 14 or 15 here today. Our meteorologists suck and either over exaggerate something or under estimate a system.

What 30 in Miami?! I was just down there last week and it was beautiful the whole time. Hell its 30* 1400 miles away up here.
