this thing could be set up so that the person viewing the scan would not see you or even know who you are what so ever. there is no need to know who the person is until a read flag goes up and then the person viewing the scan could raise an alert and a guard could pull the person being scanned aside for a search.

Perhaps the government should stop messing around with crap that does not work and that causes problems for everybody. Profiling is a perfectly valid technique and if done right, can actually work (Israel is a prime example). It's just that most of the people they catch will be young muslim males on one-way tickets originating out of Turkmenistan. Go figure.(so we can't do that because it's racist...)
