I have a 93 non PS 7.3 F250. I'd go for a turbo model if you're hauling that much weight. My auto tranny has held up well. Never heard of the 4 speed auto breaking. The 3 speeds do apparently.

    Totally different engine

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

Welcome! My first ford was a '77 460/c6/2wd

OP...Um...I might want you to find me a truck or two down that way in a year or so, that is just scary cheap by CA standards, even wgen I look at half parted early '80s ford diesels the fools want $700...

            So I didn't get a powerstroke. Company bought a new 2010 duramax.

However, I did get the ford bug and bought a 93 super cab flare side. indeed. I love this truck. So far the 5.0 seems sluggish and I can't tell the difference between it and the i6.

I still love it. Pics when my Blackberry finishes reloading. Ugh.

Got smart and bypassed the 6.4 tt and went with a good truck. Congrats you will love driving that company rig. I really wish my employers would swap to GM, I got a new 08 with the 6.4 now, afterI got back from x-mass, and I am just waiting for it to have to go to the shop and be there for ever.

I've been a Ford gut forever, when the PG&E (power company) guy came up in his loaded F450 6.0 diesel I ashed him how he liked it, he tried to tell me how many turbos they had been through, but he lost count Duramax replaced older F350 in my driveway...

factory torque numbers are very close between the LMM and the 6.7l 6bt. But the Cummins dose not have the allison behind it either, will stick with the duramax/allsion thanks
