    Your Audio/HT setup

Well, the headphone thread came up, and I thought, "headphones are lame, its all about the home theater." So show your HT or Audio Setup. BTW, theres a matching set of speakers I couldn't fit in the picture.

    I've got:

-Kenwood Eleven G receiver at 165 wpc.
-Pinnacle PN8+'s with matching subwoofer for HT
-Pioneer CS A700s for serious listening (actually when they work together its pretty awesome)
-Currently selling my Magneplanar MG1s so I can replace the pinnacles and pioneers with one serious set of speakers and use the other ones for my room setup.
-Some Samsung LCD TV (I don't really watch TV, just movies)
-Technics SL-Q30 turntable (I have a PE 3048 being repaired)
    -ADS CD3 cd player

So there it is. Show whatcha got!

Glad to hear Blunt. I love it...much better than the contemporary offerings I've heard. I got it refurbished and its so freaking nice now, don't think I'll ever give it up. Yeah, speakers are only temporary, looking at some Large Advents or Yamaha NS-1000s.

I'm pretty much a Hi-Fi weeine. Here's my current setup...

          Source:
          Pro-Ject RPM-4 turntable
          Pro-Ject 9 carbon fiber tonearm
Various cartridges (Audio Technica, Grado, Ortofon, Sumiko, etc.)

          Amp:
Antique Sound Labs Mini Phono (tube) or Rega Fono MM (s.s.) phone stages
          Decware SE34M single-ended triode tube mono-blocks

          Speakers:
Vintage A/D/S L-710 speakers with original Braun drivers

Everything's connected with home-made interconnects based on Cat5 cable. As you'd expect with S.E.T. amps and a quality turntable, the sound is amazingly lifelike at low to moderate volumes. The mid-range is incredibly detailed, which makes voices, horns, and guitars feel real. Bass is tight and controlled and the highs are very smooth. Most impressive is the imaging and the depth of the soundstage.

Sadly, the SE34M mono-blocks are no longer available. Decware stopped making them after the first batch of 5 or 6 pairs. I was lucky to have found a pair over at AudiogoN a few years ago.

I want to get some quality stuff sometime when i have the money, but here's what i had while i was at school...

            Receiver: Denon TX-DS676
Front: DCM KX-12 Series II (bass heavy but great for parties)
            Center: Niles HD CTR BX
Surround: BIC Venturi (floor speakers... can't remember exactly which ones)
            Sub: Velodyne VRP-1000

I don't have room for any of my stuff right now, so its all being used by a friend of mine. I bought everything used and just kinda added on as I found stuff.

                Sansui QRX5500 receiver
                Realistic Mach one speakers
No name shelf speakers for the 'simulated' rear channels.
                52" Sharp

I love the warmth the old stuff gives!

Ok dont have any pics of it, as it been boxed up for the last 5 years as I have moved so much and never had a good place I could set it up in a long time.

My set up I put together about 11 years ago
receiver - Denon AVR-3200 5.1 I dont run the main channels off the internal amp

AMP's - Pair of Denon POA 4400's Mono's got them used but in great condition and were about 7 years old when I got them Just huge amounts of Great clean power.

CD- Denon DCM-65 5 disk ABC whear house chepo (Yes I broke the Audio gear golden rule)

                  DVD- Cheapo JVC x-mass gift

Main channels Infinity SM-152's (the really big ones they are abotu 4' high and 18" wide) in a dark oak finish the are 4-way with a tunable internal crossover will handle up too 300w RMS and 4ohm stable hence the need for the huge mono block amps (1 to push each main speaker)

Rears- MTX 12aa 4-ways (my old mains)

Center- A mission loud speaker dual cone

                  Sub - Klipsch KSW-12

I run this in Stereo mode 90% of the time for music mostly so the rears and the center dont see much action.

I've had it for years and bought it all used. Slightly bass heavy for just music.

Got the Rotel for a steal of a price off of audiogon.
