I started watching it today. I managed to pass out 15 minutes in from 3pm to 8pm. That boring. Really.

I then solved my boredom by starting to read "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell". Haven't stopped since and I have passed the half way mark with it.

Well, let's see. The first one sucked so bad I almost didn't finish watching it.
So.....assuming that, like most sequels, this is only 50% as good as the first movie...I'm gonna say that's why it was straight to DVD.

Neg, the first movie was pretty good, but this one followed the typical sequel route of sucking more than its predecessor. I think The Transporter series had better acting than this movie did.

It wasn't funny even when it tried to be.
The ending was predictable.
The special effects were outdated and overplayed.
The plot was subpar and unimaginative.
The writing was shabby.
The acting was mediocre at best(with the exception of Ray Liotta).

It was just another run of the mill piece of Hollywood trash.
A peice of shit smoothed over to look sexy, slick and hip is still a peice of shit. When I watch movies, I hold them to a high standard, especially when I consider how much they cost to produce. If you thought the first one was that good, then you have low standards for movies. You're probably one of those people who think that Armageddon and Titanic were two of the best films of all time.
