TSA employee plays prank on traveler. no, seriously.

In the tense new world of air travel, we're stripped of shoes, told not to take too much shampoo on board, frowned on if we crack a smile.

my opinion? if our airport security is to be taken seriously the DHS needs to be eliminated. hand the TSA over to the DoD and give people a choice: quit, or go train at army 11B (infantry) school before returning to work. hold them to AT LEAST the same standards the National Guard have.

manning a checkpoint in iraq or afg, fucking around is the last thing you would ever do, and recent events have shown us that IEDs can show up at our airports too (even if the dumbfucks can't always construct them properly); security should be taken just as seriously there, if not more so.

maybe it's just me, but when i fly out of LAX and see the rail-thin TSA guy with the faux-hawk and the spiked belt it doesn't make me feel one bit safer.

Reminds me of the big bitch at lax who went through my bag and put chocolate all over my suit when I went overseas. Big bitches scare me. ugh. nasty. I don't think she was looking for anything but her chocolate.

        yes FUCK THE TSA

these tool bags are miserable at their jobs, and this is just one more circumstance to add to the mounting list.

FOR fucks sake what do you expect for professionalism at 12 bucks an hour though, you get what you get for that kinda money.

i've flown through LAX in uniform and had them pay extra-special attention to me because of it... i thanked them for "keeping us all safe", but i'm not sure they got the irony.

The people that man the metal detectors / security gate area in airports remind me of the same people that work as entry point security (badge harassing dumbasses) in my previous corporate/HQ building jobs. Not the most educated nor decently paid people.

That guy should have been fired on the fkng spot. I would have fought back punching him in his face. I still remember one of these dumb fks pulling my mother out of the line for further screening even after she presented her knee replacement card.

Dont get me started, they pulled the same shit to my Gpa (rest his soul) who at the time was in his late 70's had 14 stints a fake knee and left over shrapnel from some where in Italy. With all the cards needed to explain it all and fresh outta sugery with docs orders not bend over as it might rip shit that was healing.

Well the TSA ass hats ignore all that and forces him to bend over and and all kinds of other BS, While threating to have my Gma who is flipping out arrested, all while letting 2 families Of people whos women were wearing long robs all coverd save for eye slits and Towels on the mens heads and speaking arbic go right on though with out a second glance. This was like 3 months after 9/11 too

I fly at least 3 times a month out of ONT and SAN, and I couldn't agree with you more. It's amazing how bad it has gotten with the TSA people; I wouldn't trust most of them to get my order right at Carls, much less trust them to "catch terrorists."

Who is accountable for these pseudo police? This is another example of failure of leadership in our Government. And I would also like to thank the Solomon Family for speaking up.
This quote pretty much sums up how I feel as a frequent flier.
