I disagree with this. I understand that many Liberals today live in lala land but you can't completely reject the idea of change. The greatest US presidents, Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and to a lesser extent Roosevelt, were all liberals. They questioned the established notions of their time, and changed things for the better. You just have to be practical and understand that things can't all come at once. Baby steps.
