It is very painful listening to BHO, but it is wise to know what the enemy feeds upon. Liberals lap his slop like hogs at a trough. Besides from main stream media sound/video bites, NPR, and the entertainment industry (just watch monday night CBS sitcoms and count how many times you hear them mention health insurance), it seems their brains have no need for the truth, and after being saturated with "hope and change", rarely seek it. Most of the libs in my workplace have very little idea why they vote democrat, other than "democrats are for the little guy/workers/unions; republicans are for the rich", or the "rich people should pay more taxes," which is what one 60-something gal at work told me rather pointedly last week. I gave her the two-minute drill to try and convince her that people who own businesses are not rich, are the fabric of our economy, the negative effect of payroll taxes on them, etc

WASHINGTON – Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is missing President Barack Obama's State of the Union address in order to attend a conference in London, but she is not the only absentee Cabinet member.

One member of the Cabinet is designated by the White House to ride out the speech in an undisclosed location as a precaution against the possibility of a catastrophe wiping out the rest of the government leadership in the Capitol during the address.

The White House did not announce in advance of the speech who would be that holdout.

When Clinton became aware that her planned trip to London — for separate conferences on Yemen and Afghanistan — would coincide with the State of the Union address, aides approached the White House about it.

"Could she be the Cabinet member who remains outside the Capitol? We were told that the `undisclosed location' must be in the United States," said State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley. So, "she is not that Cabinet member."

Obama felt it was more important for her to go to London than to remain for his speech, Crowley said.

"She asked the president directly, `What do you want me to do?' And he was very clear: These (London talks) are priorities, so your place is in London working on Yemen and Afghanistan-Pakistan," Crowley said.

"When Clinton became aware that her planned trip to London — for separate conferences on Yemen and Afghanistan — would coincide with the State of the Union address, aides approached the White House about it."
