I am sort of trying to understand the legitimacy of TexasTurd's rooting for the Saints.
Texas -- where he originates?
Turd -- likes to push it in
Terp -- UMD
Nowhere do I see any affiliation with Louisiana. Please explain yourself.-OVULATOR (as named by jflip2002)

The Who Dey chant's first known use was by fans of the 1980 Cincinnati Bengals. It is similar to the phrase "Who Dat?" used by the New Orleans Saints since 1983. The chant of “Who dat? Who dat say they gonna beat dem - - ” originated in minstrel shows and vaudeville acts in the late 1800s and early 1900s, then was taken up by jazz and big band folks in the 1920s and 1930s, then was adapted by Southern University and the public schools in New Orleans in the 1960s and 1970s. There is a long-standing debate over which fanbase originated the chant.1990 S50 goodness.

But here's how all that falls into place......I'm from Houston, so I hate the Cowboys (and pretty much anything dallas for that matter). When the Oilers Left Houston for Tennessee I started watching the Saints. I also did my undergrad in New Orleans and my friends down there are HUGE Saints fans. I got sucked into the culture. I remember the first game back in the Superdome after Katrina was one of the biggest parties I have ever been to.
