I have to make a short trip at the end of the month and am not looking forward to the asshatery that is the TSA. At least I will be flying in and outta 2 very small airports and have no checked bags as I do have to go through Ohare and philly

Nah its no big deal. I made 98.5 flights last year on United alone. Ohare is actually the biggest easiest airport ever and I never had late bags connecting through ORD. PHL on the other hand is a screwball. I never fly US Airways unless I really have to and I goto their other hubs (Charlotte and Raleigh Durham) instead. If you have FFN and didnt book last minute you wont have SSSS on your ticket and you can go through normally.

Well for me I travel so much it averages out to I hardly ever have problems. I have never lost a bag and if they are late they are one flight late. No matter if I fly United, US Airways (in fact my bag got to Pittsburgh before I did once), Delta, Northwest, Continental, or AA I usually never have problems. And Ive had some tight fucking connections. Its probably just bad luck with you. Regardless if youre in infrequent flyer its best to avoid ORD. PHL is a bitch 20 bucks says you'll have to take that damn bus to your next terminal. There is a black GA that opens the door for you and she is kinda pretty. Thats the only plus.

And how the hell are you on 2 airlines for 800 miles? Unless you connecting to a Frontier flight or something like that.

yeah 2 really small airports , Williamsport PA to Sprinfield IL and back. Small little think I am AA and Continental. have not looked at my booking.

Thought about going outta Elmira NY which is a better route (no Philly) but by the time I pay for another motel for the night before in Elmira the cost savings and routing loses all benefit from there. I still may change my flight outta there any way I have not decided fully yet.

Hmm Im in Wilkes Barre tonight. How far is that from Williamsport? Also an AA hub is ORD which is closest to PA and the next closest is DFW. Hopefully its a codeshare AA, although continental isnt OneWorld Alliance, or hopefully AA isnt your first leg.

Driven through Scranton many many times last year running all over the southern Teir of NY from nearly NYC all the way back to Elmira/Horseheads

edit US air and AA in that order. US to philly then Cincy then change to AA into ORD then connect to SPI

Yea I stay in WB but work up the mountain in Dallas, PA. Dude Ive spent most of this year in PA. I was here first 2 weeks in January, then in Bedford, PA (2 hrs southeast of Pittsburgh) for another week. Then in Chicago for 2 weeks now back to WB!

I would have if I had to go to the office for anything (shop is in Allentown) ABE is a really nice small airport been in and out a few times there. I just changed my flight to outta Elmira NY. ABE is a about a 3 hour drive from here, ELM is about 1 and 1/2


Eliminated Philly and all mostly good sized airports, just have to go through Dayton now on the way back and now on Delta and united

However, I will point out that the reason we can't use better methods is because we can't use real profiling techniques because of the shit heads like the ACLU saying it violates our rights. In the case above, the ACLU should be suing themselves. They are the ones forcing TSA to do cavity searches on little old ladies because they happen to be the 5th person in line because it wouldn't be fair if they only did searches on young, single men with one way tickets, with recently shaved off beards, and calluses on their foreheads from praying to Ala 5 times a day.
