He disgraces himself. He hasn't worn a uniform in over five years, and when he did, he was a highschool dropout who only completed one enlistment of four years. When ordered to be a soldier first, as all soldiers are, he pined for the safe reaches of the radar he was taught to drive. He's reaching for straws thinking he was motivated to enlist as some magical answer to not having the grades or the money for college. He's reaching now with the accusations of racism.

I respect his Right to speak, but I seriously question his wisdom in what he has to say. Having a Right does not equal being in the right.
