I am a witness to this, when I worked at a grocery store. Even the people that are "hoarders" (people who buy 10-15 of one item cause they've got coupons) seemed to make off like bandits.

We do try using them in my house, we should start using them more though.

I don't know about $10 shopping carts, but she can save us 30-50% almost every time with coupon and timing sales just so.

I do not buy "packaged" foods. I do not find many coupons for food that isn't packaged.

TheGroceryGame.com is one I saw on 20/20 or dateline where this lady was getting $300 of food you and I would devour for like maybe tax? This was no game for this lady. Around our house we have lowered our grocery bill for 2 adults to 200 a month. We have been to the Dave Ramsey courses and use the envelopes. The eating out has even gone down when I saw just how much was being spent in that department. BTW frozen vegetables are so much better for you than canned.

i bought my e30 four months ago and have used coupons ever since
seriously though, coupons are awesome, stores giving a discount for you
taking the time to cut out a piece of paper, or printing in some cases.
I wish i used them more often, sometimes i feel like a cheap bastard, but this
is the kind of thing that adds up.

slickdeals.net is a curse. I save on tons of stuff, but I'm convinced I buy more things than I need, because it's a good deal. Of course, that's why coupons exist.
