    Lookin for info

My dad has an Indian motorcycle and cant find anywhere to get info or order parts from.
Hes not sure of the year, it between 1970-1975, its a 97 cc motor.
There are two separate VINS. the one on the frame is 2034H402459 and the one on the motor is P402459.
Any info on what model or where to source parts would help. Thanks

He has called dealers from all over and they have no idea where to get parts from. Spare parts are probably NLA from the dealer but there has to be somewhere to get parts.

You are probably going to need someone to make parts. I don't know if you've tried this site yet http://www.starklite.com/

Between 1953 and the early 1970s, different organizations imported motorcycles into the United States and applied the Indian logo to them, with varying degrees of legitimacy. The rights to the Indian marque were reconciled in the late 1990s and were acquired by Indian Motorcycle Company of America, which began building new Indian motorcycles in Gilroy, California in 1999.The Indian Motorcycle Company of America went bankrupt and ceased production in 2003.
That's why he claimed fail. There are few Indian dealerships.

But there is enough of them that actually he failed.

yeah but you would think people at the dealership would know where to get parts for the old ones because they could potentially own one too or have experience with them

They are making them again, but it's just another company that just bought the name to throw on cheap bikes. Real Indians have been dead and gone since 1953.

Your dad's is also a bastard model too.

There is an Indian dealer literally 15 minutes from my house, maybe the "real" indians are gone but they have new bikes now
and maybe the people selling the new ones will know where to get parts, calm down little girl.
